9.2 States of matter : Three states of matter, basic concepts of kinetic theory of gases, equation of state, Dalton's law of partial pressure, Graham's law of diffusion, deviation from ideal behavior, laws of stoichiometry, Avogadro’s hypothesis, relation between molecular weight & vapour density, properties of solid 
9.3 Atomic structure and valency : Dalton's atomic theory, Rutherford's atomic model, Bohr's postulates, Aufbau principle, electronic configuration of atoms, theory of valency and basic principle of electrolysis
