                                         The Rising Nepal

"The Rising Nepal" is the oldest English newspaper in our country. It is normally controlled by the government. It is daily published. It carries news and views from all the sectors (क्षत्रहरु) and make them known to the people. It also provides entertainment. It plays a vital (महत्वपूर्ण) role in making people aware of politics, economics, education, etc. It spreads knowledge of the above-mentioned sectors quickly because there are news and articles on them and other sectors as well.


It also publishes public views through various kinds of articles. People can express their opinions, ideas and thoughts through it. The government is directed by the voices and opinions of the people. People can draw the attention of the government for the betterment of the country and the countrymen. Although it is controlled by the government, a particular political party should not try to influence (प्रभाव पार्नु) it. It should be free. It should not be controlled by political parties or a particular ideology (सिद्दान्त). Unfortunately it also publishes misleading news and twisted views. By the result, people do not believe the news published in it. This situation should be improved.
